THE FACETS (facets.cnx) is a renovation and expansion project for a café located within GEMS GALLERY Chiangmai, San Kamphaeng. The design concept focuses on articulating the "variety of gems" through architectural elements, resulting in a space that is distinctive, appealing, and sensorially immersive. Drawing inspiration from gemstones such as diamond, opal, amethyst, garnet, emerald, aquamarine, sapphire, and citrine, the design incorporates their geometric forms, colors, and reflective properties into the structure, while thoughtfully integrating aspects of the local cultural identity.
